As part of our contribution to UK United Nations Climate Change cop26 ‘Net Zero’ commitments for 2050, we aim to improve our ecological footprint through adopting sustainable practices in the guesthouse:

Waste recycling

90% of guest’s rubbish from the cottage gets recycled, including plastic cartons and foil Nespresso coffee pods.

Eco-friendly household cleaner

All the cleaners we use routinely use are eco-friendly and created without the use of palm oil, or when necessary, using palm oil from sustainable sources.

Renewable energy

100% of our energy comes from renewable sources from Good Energy; 46% of which is produced by independent generators in the UK, e.g. wind farms across the coastline. Renewable energy saves 25-40% CO2 from entering the atmosphere. The property does not run on gas.
